Qualities of A Good Neighbor

Whenwe have a new neighbor, we will think of what kind of person he is and hisfamily are. We hope that he is a good one. For me, I like people who aretalkative and we can have a nice talk. When we come across, we can greet eachother with a smile. I also like people who like to smile; he is not a seriousperson. A good neighbor is helpful and generous.

當我們有了新鄰居的時候，我們會在想他和他的家人是怎么樣的人呢。我們希望他是個好人。對我來說，我喜歡健談的人，這樣我們就可以好好地聊天了。我們遇到的時候，我們可以用微笑向對方問候。我也喜歡那些喜歡微笑的人；他不是一個嚴肅的人。一個好鄰居應該是樂于助人和慷慨大方的。

Akind-hearted lady once lived near me. I didn't know her very well. One day Ifound she was a good person. On that day I returned home and realized that Ileft my keys in my house and locked myself out. I could not get in touch withmy mother. It was getting dark and I had nowhere to go but I only could stayaround my house and wait for my mother. The lady who lived next to me saw thatI stay around by myself and let me get into her house, she warmly serviced mesome tea and cookies. We had a good conversation. Thanks for her help, I wouldnot stand out to wait for an hour and to suffer the cold.

曾經有一個有好心的婦女住在我旁邊。我并不怎么了解她。有一天我發(fā)現(xiàn)她是一個好人。那一天我回到家后發(fā)現(xiàn)我把鑰匙放家里了，把自己鎖在外面。我聯(lián)系不上我媽媽。天慢慢變黑了，我沒有地方可以去只能夠待在房子旁邊等我媽媽回來。那個住在我隔壁的婦女看到我一個人在外面就讓我去她家坐。她熱情地招待了我，給了我一些茶和餅干。我們聊得很開心。多虧了她的幫助，我才不用在外面忍受寒冷等一個小時。

Ina word, the lady is an example of good neighbors. She owns some qualities thatI respect, such as helpfulness, generosity and easygoing.

總之，那個婦女就是好鄰居的例子。她擁有一些讓我尊重素質，如: 樂于助人，大方，隨和。

Besides,there are two important qualities making for a good neighbor: tolerance andrespect for each other’s privacy. If a neighbor have a baby who cries a longtime at midnight, or if he starts playing a music instrument, these situationsmean some tolerance is required. Meanwhile I like talkative people, but Idislike those who like gossiping.

此外，還有兩個重要的品質使有助于造就一個好鄰居：容忍和尊重別人的隱私。如果一個鄰居是有孩子的，他總是在午夜哭很久，或者他開始演奏樂器，這時候寬容是必要的。同時我喜歡話多的人，但我不喜歡那些喜歡說長道短的人。
